I thought I should expand my own knowledge a bit before my demonstrations this month. When the new papers arrived from DoCrafts the patterns in the Arts & Crafts paper pad inspired me to do some tea-bag folding again. I knew two basic folds and assembly already but did a search on the internet and Pinterest and following some diagrams taught myself the technique on the right. Come last Saturday at my demonstration in The Range, Stevenage I had a lovely group of people come to my demonstration to have a try at the tea bag folding. They made some lovely examples to take home with them to put on a card. We had a lovely chat about different papers to use for tea bag folding and thought that vellum would be nice at Christmas time as some of the designs look much like snowflakes or stars. I hope to see some more people tomorrow at The Range, Milton Keynes who would like to try this technique. Happy crafting.

Thank you Jennie for leaving a link to this page on Hochanda facebook page. The above make is lovely and lovely colours too. It was a nice surprise reading that you are a Occupational Therapist as I am awaiting for a new appointment with a new Occupational Therapist at my Local hospital. I had been on the list at another hospital, but as it was approx 18 miles each way I was having transport problems. I do hope my new appointment will include some crafting. What a lovely service you offer for your patients. Thank you xx

AuthorHello, my name is Jennie. I have been crafting since I was a teenager and have always been interested in lots of different mediums. As an Occupational Therapist I have used arts and crafts as a therapy to assist people in their rehabilitation. I currently work doing demonstrations and make & takes on behalf of a craft supplier. I am available to do make & takes for events (e.g. children's birthday parties, WI meetings) and I also sell my PURRR products at local fairs. Archives
