Hello everyone, sorry I haven't blogged for a while - I became very busy doing Christmas projects and finishing off my demonstrations for the year. I thought I would show this card today made using a gelli plate; some alcohol inks, a stencil and some acrylic paint. Barbara Gray from Claritystamp shows a similar technique in this YouTube video (www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmGjWJRb_BY), however for the technique used here you wait for the ink to dry; put the stencil on top of your piece of card; put the thin layer of paint onto the gelli plate on top of you dried alcohol inks then press through the stencil. Remove, let the paint dry the apply another layer of paint and make another print. You should end up with two opposite type prints as shown below. Once you have made your prints and they have dried you need to finish making your card.
